Go Fish Georgia

Go Fish Georgia is a state intitiate to promote fishing in the State of Georgia. The Go Fish Georgia intitiate has three stated goals:

Goal 1 - Improve access to Georgia Waters. This includes development of the Georgia Bass Trail, a statewide system of lake access points that would support large-scale bass fishing tournaments.

Goal 2 - Increase fishing participation by promoting Georgia resources. Construction of the Go Fish Georgia Center in Perry, Georgia, is part of this goal. The 120-acre Go Fish Georgia Center will include a visitor’s center , a public fishing lake, and a warm water hatchery.

Goals 3 - Improve quality of fishing in Georgia waters.
