The City of Bainbridge plans to build three double-capacity boat ramps in the Earle May Boat Basin to accommodate major bass fishing tournaments.  The city government will use $400,000 in state money and its own labor to construct the mega-ramp as part of its inclusion in the Go Fish Georgia initiative, which aims to market the state as a major destination for recreational and competitive fishing.
